Sol Cresta uses the same docking and formation techniques as Terra Cresta’s legendary shooting game Moon Cresta. It also includes the brand new “free-form docking system”. The main character, Yamato, composed of three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack determined by the manner in which the three ships are aligned. The most effective way to stop Mandler’s armies invading the area is docking the ships, separating them and reforming them.
